They have become more than words to the average science student at Contius. The science program is designed to open new avenues of thought and experiences. The general science class orientates the mind of the freshman toward solving prob- Iems according to the scientific method. It prepares him for the more specialized fields of science, chemistry, and biology. The chemistry class challenges him to explore the composition of matter. Biology fasci- nates him as he studies the structure of liv- ing things. Freshmen become fomilior with o chollenging survey in on introductory science course, orousing the urge for the more odvonced subjects in science. They know that through hard work alone they will achieve success. Accepting Mary as their source of sustenance they apply every effort to accomplish victories, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. By attacking all problems with zest and willingness, they pre- pare themselves for their future voca- tions or careers. Mom and Dad go back to school and meet our instructors.
