They have become more than words to the average science student at Contius. The science program is designed to open new avenues of thought and experiences. The general science class orientates the mind of the freshman toward solving prob- Iems according to the scientific method. It prepares him for the more specialized fields of science, chemistry, and biology. The chemistry class challenges him to explore the composition of matter. Biology fasci- nates him as he studies the structure of liv- ing things.
