Q The exhibition on model rocketry got the students going and on March 2, Brother Gene carried through with the members by sending up a few models ot their own. The French Club got going this year. lt held a bake sale, a picnic and a volleyball game, a Mardi Gras, and a banquet. The club got together with Saint Josephs for some ot these activities. The club officers were Louie Casas, presidentg Steve Fillet, vice-presidentg Flavio Sofia, treasurer and Dennis Bendeck, secretary. These dedi- cated members pulled ott a bake sale that netted over eighty doilarsl c The club's Mardi Gras was held in con- qiunction with St. Josephs and was a great Lsuccess. Costumes were worn by all and .Friar Phil Gonzalez won a prize at the event. The French club's first full year 'rnerked il HS one of the more active and lfenjoyable clubs on campus.
