They began the year with the difficult task ot leading the sophomores in various activitiesg such as, Homecoming , the Talent Show, and the Olympiad. With these activities and all the other responsibilities on their shoulders, the sophomore representatives had a very tight schedule. But, after many hours ot extra time spent, these events were believed to ba a great success by the faculty, the student body, and the Stu- dent Council themselves. The key to a successful Student Council is student participation, com- mented Mark Chavez. This is why we did so well this yearf' This Sopho- more Class is truly one of a kind. They excel in both academics and athletics but have made a name tor themselves by their superior spirit at the basketball games. The Sophs have made '79 a great year for themselves.
