During our junior year, our Holy Father, Pope Pius XII, proclaimed a new feast in honor of Mary, which he called the Queenship of Mary. This feast is to be celebrated on May 31 of every year henceforth. On this day the world is to be consecrated to Mary. We acknowledge Mary as our Queen and pray that she will continue to look upon all our efforts and bless everything we do. 5

Fitzpatrick Father Fitzpatrick has been to us a pastor in the real sense of the word, for he has always been intensely in- terested in our spiritual and temporal needs. Need- less to say, these have been well supplied. However, it is rather as a sincere friend that we shall remem- ber Father best- a friend who gave us sound counsel, wise encouragement, and an appreciation for happy laughter.
