This pretty brunette with hazel eyes has a personality that matches perfection. Having so many wonderful traits, you can readily see why she was chosen junior Prom Queen. FLORENCE BRODERICK If it's kicks you want, you must meet Flo-- the life and laughter of the senior claw. Beneath those laughing Irish eyes liesasparkling personality which has won Flo a prominent position in the hearts of her classmates. She is addicted to dancing and bowling. No one has won her heart as yet. MA RY LOUISE BRODE RICK 'Lou' is a quiet, sincere, and well-liked person, Typically Irish with bright eyes, she is a wonderful artist. Although she can never quite make it to school on time, once here, the whole school can not help but know it. Her radiant personality is all that is needed on a rainy day. ALTA CISSELL One of the friendliest girls in our class is Alta Cissell. Her pleasing manner and sparkling smile will secure for her many friends in the future. Her most valuable assets are her lyric soprano voice and her consideration for others. She is seen but not often heard, ANNA MA RY CONNOLLY Nancy has left an impression of being a good and willing worker at St. john's. If you need something done, Nancy is always willing to help. She may appear very busy, but is never too occu- pied to join in a hearty laugh. MARY CONNOLLY Mary is pleasant, friendly, and nice to know. Teasing gives her her greatest delight. When it comes to gabbing, she is far from slow. To boast for the lrish, she'll go to any length. Her eyes are hazel and her hair is short and blond. She is one of the best pencil-sellers the office ever had. BETTY CRONIN Boopsie is small, full of fun, always willing to smile and crack a joke. She is sporting a gold bracelet on her arm. Although she doesn't admit it, this is a sure sign of a budding romance. Dreamy eyes which reveal a kind heart are what make her classmates believe in this old saying-- Good things come in small packages. LENA DiLONARDO Exciting brown eyes, daring and dauntless, she never lacks a snappy comeback. She would give her right arm if you asked for it. She believes in Laugh and the world will laugh with you. A true Italian, she has beautiful black shining hair and a wonderful sense of humor. FRANCES EGAN Tall, slender, fair and true, bright eyes and pretty red hair, a quick temper, and an Irish blush help to make Fran the swell girl that she is. The doctors at Pittsburgh Hospital hold her interest. She's wide awake and loves to talk. A friend and a half, her bright smile wins many a heart. NORA EGAN Sweetness, charm and quietness are noticeable traits of Nora. Sweet because of her petite smile, charming in every way, quiet inaserene and friendly manner. Nora, a hard-working pupil, has many friends even though she has the tendency to blush. She is bound to succeed in everything she will do. She hopes to be a Sister of St. joseph.
