llur Pa tor ' sl FATHER JOSEPH C. FITZPATRICK Locked deep in our hearts, there will always be a vivid picture of our pastor and counselor, Father Fitzpatrick. The sound of Irish laughter and Terry's barking are the announcements of Father's entrance. Many a day has been made brighter by his visit to school. Though we are not all of his parish, he has given us all an opportunity to receive a Catholic education.

Pari h Hi tory PARISH HISTORY St. john the Baptist Church was dedicated on june 8, 1879. The newly appointed pastor, Reverend Charles V. Neeson offered up the first Mass. In only eight years the school and rectory were completed and ready for use. In 1891, Father Neeson passed away. The Reverend Edward M. McKeever, was appointed to succeed Father Neeson. Using his business ability, Father McKeever by 1907 had erected a larger and more modern church, school and rectory at their present site. Father McKeever died on August 9, 1923. Father Wigley was appointed pastor. He worked hard and accomplished much. A new rectory was erected next to the church and much re- modeling took place within rhe church. In 1928, the first class graduated from St. john the Baptist High School. Father Wigley, a pastor who was loved by all, passed away in june of 1949. Now this wonderful parish, which has given its people much comfort and joy, is going to celebrate its diamond jubilee under its new pastor, the Reverend 1. C. Fitzpatrick. 5

Assistant Pa tor FATHER JAMES P. LOGUE Sincere gratitude is extended to Father Logue for his aid in advancing our Christian education. He has prepared us well for the future. Due to his patience, kindness, and understanding, we have become well versed in Catholic philosophy. Father came to our school this year from Holy Rosary. FATHER ADELBERT E. WILLIAMS Our assistant pastor has been a loyal benefactor and friend. His participation in school entertain- ment has made him a favorite among the students. Knowing him has been one of the joys at St. john's.
