f' After seeing some of my chums I asked about the others I was informed that Dorothy Farber was now a pharmacist and in charge of the Pharmacy Department in the hospital in which he had tra'ned While we were talking our voices seemed to be drowned out by the whirr of an aeroplane which was flying very low and was encircling the place Curious, as women are, we rushed outside to join an already collecting crowd gazing upon Leone 1932 written in the sky Finally after much maneuvering in the sky the plane landed about a mile away and in a short time a car drew up to the curb bearing Anthony Sarh and oseph Gallagher Anthony was still wearing his flying togs which revealed his identity as a first rate pilot and owner of an airport near town When he and oe came into the hall they were hailed with loud acclaim for their successful trip and for Tony s writing in the sky oseph Gallagher, our own oe of yester years was now recognized in the world of science as one of the most successful young researchers in that Held While conversing with oe he told us that Thomas Haggerty was now a successful druggist and that he had lived up to our expectations He also told us that he had heard through Tommy that oseph Young, better known as Pep was now in Southern California taking part in the Olympic Games Pep was the star American entry for diving As the ball drew to a close the members of 37 gathered together and one of the class announced to the others that there was another pleasant surprise awaiting them We were escorted to a little place in the heart of the town called Ye Girlie Tea Shoppe Here, what a surprise met my eyes as I gazed at the menu, for the owners and managers of this tea shop were none other than ane Fitzpatrick and Margaret Sweeney. Peg came in just at this moment. Explanations were in order. Peg told us that she and Jane had taken the Home Economic course at College, and upon returning home had established this shop. It now had a large patronage and was very successful. We sat reminiscing for hours. Here I learned that Kathryn Valen- tine was now in Paris doing her work as instructress in a Parisian art school and that Betty Hegarty was the wealthiest and most renowned member of the class. She was now traveling around the world campaign- ing for good health. Eugene Carroll was now a professional dentist and S' ' x , . r if 1 ' 1 Ag 1 ' Y 4 I ff ,nf ' ' ,:ffffffwa . ' . ' . ' ' s .1 . All aboard for unior, the captain s call found four among he missing, but two newcomers joined our ranks which gave us our present graduating number, twenty-two who leave the portals of our Alma Mater as the Class of 32. With the appearance of Chemistry and Virgil on our curriculum our further success seemed dubious, but on reviving our spirits the outlook seemed less gloomy and our goal more certain. The Seniors were making preparations to leave and we were disheartened at the thought of having to do the same in one short year. It was during the last quarter of this year that the Lionls Call was issued. The co- operation of the four classes made it a success.
