Kelley and inspired by the ideals found in his writings was established at Saint Jerome's under the guidance of Fr. Clayton Hergot, C. R. This club has for its prirnary purpose, the promotion of good-Will, and brotherhood among seminary students. Indeed, those words were well personified by the Debating Society during the past school year. Vernacular in the Liturgy, Preventive War, Socialized Medicine, and Foreign Policy were among the questions which were debated. Itiwould be almost impossible to decide which one of the topics received the most response among the students, faculty and guests. This year, the Debating Society achieved its first aim, to arouse interest in contemporary issues.
