Marie. His dest- ination is St. Peter's Seminary where his personality and ability in languages will prove a wonderful asset. Lawrence F. Grajek Originally from Detroit, after 3 years in the U.S. Navy, Larry attended Detroit U., where he received his degree in Educ- ation. He displayed his artistic talent again and again while at St. Jerome's. Bernard Hayes Bernie comes from Yarmouth, N.S., where he received his elementary and high school education, then going to St. Dunstan's College in P.E.I., for one year. Not only can he sing well, but he can speak well - he proved this by winning the 1952 Orat- orical Contest. In July he will join the Congregation of the Resurrection. Jerome Holtzman Has his B.A. from St. John's U. and studied for one year at the University of Vienna in Austria. A candidate for the Diocese of Sioux Falls, in his short stay with us he has been F.K.C. President and librarian. Michael Kearney From the nation's capitol, Mike grad- uated from St. Pat's College. His active life at St. Jerome's involved him in such things as oratory and sports. Called the 'Eskimo', he will enter St. Augustine's Seminary to complete his studies for the Archdiocese of Ottawa. ' wjgfff : f . ., -, -Jw ,-. f : ggi f 'lf -A di! fe we -M his B.Sc. degree from Syracuse College, and was interested in advertising before decid- ing to study for the priesthood for the Diocese of Brooklyn. His understanding dis- position will carry him well along the way. James Lauducci A graduate of LeMoyne College in Chemistry he is studying for the Diocese of Syracuse. Interest in photography, the Yearbook, bowl- ing, football and basketball as well as group discussion have made Jim a busy and well-known man on the campus. Joseph Mazure ith his home in Bad Axe, Mich, Joe comes to us from C.U. and intends to enter the Res- urrectionists. He collects information about railroads - hence the nickname 'Engineer'. Four years experience in the Marines will aid him in the priesthood.

Barrett Ed was born, raised and educated in Brooklyn, N.Y.. Before coming to S.J.C. he attended St. Mary's College in Emmits- burg, Md. After he completes his course this year, he hopes to enter St. Mary's House of Theology in Baltimore. Mike Barrett From Centralia,Pa., and studying for the Diocese of Harrisburg, he served Uncle Sam for 9 years in the U.S. Army and Coast Guard. We are sure that he will serve just as faithfully in the service of God. Overend Brunning Vern is one of our Hamilton boys. When he leaves St. Jerome's, he expects to be sent to St. Augustine's for his theology. Debating took up a great deal of his spare time while at our school, we are sure that he profited much from his experience. Richard Case Dick hails from Berwick, Pa., and stud- ied architecture at Penn University before he came to St. Jerome's. He is studying for the Diocese of Harrisburg. We will always remember him for his stirring portrayal of St. Thomas Aquinas. Walter Duraczynski A From Pennsylvania, Walter hopes to enter St. Paul's Seminary and later be ordained for the Diocese of Sioux Falls, South Dak- ota. Walter spent much time this year hel- ping to paint at the new school. Salvatore Emmi Sal is from Syracuse, N.Y., and a grad of LeMoyne College. He has been at S.J.C. for two years, and studied Latin most of the time. He will enter the Trappists soon after leaving St. Jerome's. Harry En lert Harry is from Lakewood, Ohio. He will attend St. Augustine's in Toronto for Theology to prepare himself to work in the Hamilton Diocese. His fellow students have been amazed at his skill on the basketball floor when he played for the College team. Donald Gavan Don studied at Ottawa Tech and Carle- ton College, then joined the Airforce, in which organization he served two years. The former president of F.K.C. will go to St. Augustine's in Toronto for theo- logy: Ottawa Archdiocese is his destin- ation.

.QM ,gawk 66523 .ff-gy' Thomas McTague A distinguished A-year man, our little leprechaun from County Cavan, Eire served with the French Underground for 3 years. He received his high school education in Belgium and attended St. Thomas College in St. Paul, Minn., for 2 years. Now from Binghampton, N.Y., he is studying for the Diocese of Great Falls. Montana. Allister Olinski From Brantford, before entering St. Jer- ome's, Al spent several years in diverse occupations. He took his College and Phil- osophy courses here at St. Jerome's and will enter St. Augustine's Seminary to study for the Diocese of Hamilton- Eleanor Hosinke Her smiling face has been evident for the last three years as she dashed to the Annex on her way to class: she will receive her B.A. degree this year. Loves oratory, and has displayed her talents in that field at S.J.C. Her future is undecided. Eileen Sullivan Miss Sullivan came to us from St. Mary's, and will get her B.A. this year. Whatever her future plans are, she will be certain to succeed. Public speaking is the subject she liked most, and she proved herself profic- ient in it. Robert Simons Obtained his B.A. degree in Economics at St. John's University - Bob would like not- hing better than teaching after ordinationg there will be many opportunities for this in his native Diocese of Sioux Falls. His favorite sport is basketball as he well demonstrated while playing with the F.K.C. team. Donald Traub From Tuckahoe,N.Y., and studying for the New York Diocese, Don served 3 years in the U.S. Navy during World War II, after which he went to St. Bonaventure University. Don was president of the F.K.C. and was active in the Leoknights. Joseph Wheeler From South Dakota, Joe attended U. of S.D. before coming to St. Jerome's. He will enter St. Paul's Seminary. Adept at basketball, he has shown willingness to cooperate in any student John Wills activity. John comes from Harrisburg and is study- ing for that Diocese.
