It is never unusual to forget someone, so if there is someone who has been forgotten, it is quite unintentional. However, we cannot forget the great driving force behind this publication. This great inspiration came in the form of Father Com- erford, our faculty advisor. Father was our emis- sary who kept everything together whenever dis- agreements arose. It was also this same Father Comerford who obtained our new press. Li W kl In January 1950, the first issue of the school paper was printed. It was nameless, two pages long and typed in capital letters. This paper was later called 'Sanctus Corridorus'fHoly Hallsl and retain- ed this name for the first three years of public- ation. The first editor was Robert England: Fred was his successor, Ronald Hagler was the third chief executive. In 1951 a new press was obtained, and aptly named the Printer's Devil because of the trouble it invariably caused. This year, However, our sup- eriors realized our need, and now we have a press that works. Deo Gratias! Had it not been for their untiring and devoted eff- orts, it is unlikely that the Lion Weekly would have appeared with the regularity that characterized it throughout 1952-1953.
