Y' Seated: D. Mowat, C. Westfall, B. Weber. Standing: A. Busch. The aim of the Catholic Truth Committee is to spread the knowledge of the Catholic Faith through the reading of Catholic literature by the students of St. Jerome's. To achieve this end, the members of the Committee sold the Catholic Digest to the students each month. Talks on good books which might be found in our library, based on suggesyions given by Father Lehman were given at various assemb- lies. l 5' fi Seated: D. Heit, F. Fellner. Standing: M. Levings, G. Kloepfer. The purpose of the Apostolic Committee is to spread the Faith among those who do not have it and to help the missions with prayers and financial contributions. We do this by our Lenten Mission Drive for clothes, books and money. Last year we col- lected SADC. and sent many boxes of books, missals and clothing to the Indian Missions in the West. Thus the little contributions of nickels and dimes go from us to the mission- aries all over the world to help with the propagation of the Catholic Faith. Social Life Committee The main purpose of this branch of the Sodality is the promotion of social activ- ities such as dances, sleigh-rides, etc. This is an important work: its results this year have been gratifying. By prov- iding good Catholic recreation for the Sodalists, more interest is aroused in the other branches of the organization. This increased interest makes the students more willing to undertake the tasks as- signed them as members of our group. Zi il? Seated: R. Shoup, D. Papillon, P. Houston Standin : D. Sandrock, G. Schwenker, E. Drlowski. Absent: D. Putnam, J. Power. The Publicity Committee this year was ' responsible for all the colorful posters and advertisments seen in the halls of St. Jerome's, St. Mary's and in the down- town restaurants. Thus the committee is partially responsible for the success of any and all activities undertaken by the Sodality. This involves a great deal of work and takes up much time. The com- mittee can feel proud of its work and feel certain of the approval of the stu- dent body.
