Class of 1953. . . You, the Class of 1953, have reached a milestone in your life. You must make choices, you must choose. Sometimes not a great deal depends on what you choose, often very much depends on it. Your choice may be one of life and death, even of eternal life and death. Your most important choice is that of motives and reasons for doing things. Our glor- ious Faith, which you have studied here at St. .lean's School, will supply you with the best of motives. Make your choices in the light of your Faith. Graduation is very properly called Commencement. You begin to make your choices and decisions in the Light of that Faith. Moreover you, the Class of 1953, have the distinction and privilege of forming the twentyfsixth and last graduating class of St. .lean's High School. In 1954 your successors will be an important part of Catholic Central High School of Greater Muskegon. In imita- tion of those who have gone before them at St. Jean's may they take with them the tradi- tions of service and loyalty to their Country, to their Church and to their God as taught by their teachers, the good Sisters of Mercy and the priests of the Parish. To you, the Class of 1953, may God walk with you and help you always to make the right choices. May Mary show her patronage to every one of you--during life, at death and after death. , K!
