Francis Ferrier and Annette Howell, seniors, are crowned Holly King and Queen to reign over the gay festivities of the Freshmen Christmas Party. Social Events in St. Jean Hall . . . Rev. William E. Fraser ioins a smiling Santa Claus in wishing the students a Very Merry Christmas at the Freshmen Holiday party. A tasty breakfast welcomed the St. Jean Sodalists after the induction of the Freshmen into the Sodality. Piping hot coffee was served with a smile ata recent Holy Name Break- fast by a group of high school girls. They are, left to right: Kathleen Geoghan, Patricia Kennedy, Ann Martin, Mary Jo Martin, and Mr. Victor Perreault, the official coffee maker, assisting at the coffee urn.

OC LIFE Wholesome recreation contributes much to ioyous Christian living. St. Jean so- cial season opened with the Seniors as hosts to the entire school at the Oval bordering Lake Michigan . . . the Freshmen gave the Christmas party with the traditional crowning of the Holly King and Queen . . . the Sophomores brought Cupid and His Capers for Valentine Day . . . the Juniors are preparing to climax the social activ- ities with the gala Junior-Senior Prom. Good sportsmanship and competition are the builders of good men .... St. .lean's has al- ways kept this in mind as she trained her stu- dents for their station in life. And now as the years see the end of St. .lean High, they can also see the beginning of the results of the physical training her students have received. They will go into many branches of life, but always visible will be the character of her yearlings, raised in good sportsmanship.
