SALUTATORY Today we follow, tomorrow we lead . . .V Our motto as we adventured across the happy days of schoolhood and of shared dreams. With wide and questioning eyes we have walked trustingly through years and space, gaining experi- ence as we have ascended part way up the pathway of Time. Now we stand with head and shoulders erect, with eyes visioning a higher and adventuring goal. VALEDICTORY Our entrance in school and our educational developments can be compared to a tiny seedling. Twelve short years ago we were planted in the carefully prepared garden of education, sheltered from the rough elements of the world within the loving walls of our Alma Mater. Our Holy Faith smiled upon us, we were imbued with the sound principles of good living and now we find ourselves being transplanted into the garden of the world. God grant that we may not shrink from the path that lies before us. At present, sacrifices are demanded on all sides. The feeblest effort, whether it be that of man, woman, or child, whether it be for education, society, or religion, will aid in that one common cause for which nations are striving today, I:reedom. May we be generous in promoting this great cause by living up to our motto Today we follow, to- morrow we lead. -T.. JOSEPH LAPRES, '-19. lead From this field of schoolhood a plane takes off into life, into the service of Christ. Our dreams shape into realities . . tomorrow vue - JOHN RUSSI LL
