The championship was quite a surprise - the season record had been an inauspicious 1-7. QT he sole victory: Austin Pacellij. With four underformers lettering, prospects look good for next season too. The team is becoming competitive down through the ranks, said Mr. Catterall. Kathy Boentje, named Most- Valuable Player, compiled the team's only winning record, 6-2. She also took the district singles title.
