CHOIR Vocalists Enjoy Trip To Canada Back from sabbatical leave, Mr. Jokumsen directed the choir in a fine choral season. Performances includ ed the pops concert, Christmas concert, tour, home- coming concert, spring concert, and graduation. The tour brought the choir north to Canada, with stops in Duluth and Two Harbors. The members stayed in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and performed for two colle- geates. The Limited Edition, Boys Octet, and the State Reflections also made numerous appearances throughout the year. The madrigals eased on down to a number of contests and took second place at Man- kato State and also did well at Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa. District and region contests were suc- cessful for the soloists and ensembles with many well- deserved stats. The Concert Choir faired well at the large group contestant at Mapleton, earning three out of three stats. 23 THE CONCERT CHOIR
