These dedicated civil servants assisted at the Bloodbank. They helped by notifying potential donors and babysitting the children of those who came to give blood. At the annual Baby Tea, the Candystripers were once again utilized as sitters for the small fry. Besides their reg- ular volunteer work at Pleasant View Home, Watonwan Memorial Hospital and Park Apartments, the Candystripers also participated in the Christmas Party and other special activities at Pleasant View. The residents enjoyed the life and fun the girls added to their celebrations. Candystripers recite their pledge at one of their monthly meetings.
