After school hours the hall decorations seemed to echo the great spirit of all students. Eat it up Bonnie Lantz. Sloppy, but humerous, the pie eating contest was truly entertaining. Fun of Spirit Week Brings Needed Break After a semester of work, a week of festive events was planned by the Student Council to provide a welcome break between quarters. The halls were decorated by the classes, at- tempts were made at snow sculpturing, and the week was culminated by a pep fest coming at a time when state tournaments were at hand. There were cheer- ing contests, pie eating contests and was concluded with an ugly girl competition which netted the Council some cash. Mr. (Miss?) Appleton collected the most cash, therefore was the ugliest girl. Which one is your queen-Mr. Rabe, Bill Riesenberg, Warren Romsdahl, or Bill Brown? The seniors constructed a snow sculpture that showed Saints were Number One.
