As juniors we lay our foundations JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS: E. Johnson, D. Hunstad, L. Mickelson, R. Moody. Our class play cast was chosen and the play was a big success. Afterwards everyone and his brother was at the party. Then we picked our class rings—they were the best- looking class rings ever --according to us Juniors. Naturally, during those first weeks after we got them all of us proudly showed them to everybody. Basketball and wrestling season rolled around with the majority of representatives from our class. Christmas vacation was nice rest, but it ended too soon. At the Frosty Frolic Kathy Hackett became edi- tor of the Saints Reporter for next year and four other juniors became page heads. Some juniors, members of the class, attended the State High School Basketball Tournaments. According to them the games were very good------- A-hem. In the spring of the year the hustle and bustle of the approaching prom began. All the committees were busy getting everything ready. It was a lot of work, but, with the Seniors praise, it was worth it. Exam time came and in spite of all the complaints we made it. Then, all of a sudden, We re Seniors! We juniors have been very busy this year. In all types of sports our boys have really been terrific. Of course our girls have excelled in different clubs and organi- zations. During football season we sponsored a dance to raise extra funds for the prom. Melanie Mueller and Dick Bakke were our Junior Homecoming attend- ants. We are sure our Homecoming float was the best , but because they forgot to notify us of the cor- rect parade time, our float was late and was disquali- fied from the judging. La Rue Mickelson and Kathy Madson did swell jobs as our first team cheerleaders. ROW 1: B. Reisenberg, N. Westman, G. Noren, G. Wacker, S. Offerdahl, M. Swanson, L. Wascher, K. Redmond, J. 01seth,E.
