We are eager, observant, and ambitious EIGHTH GRADE CLASS OFFICERS. K. Se- dam, Secretary; B. Wolner, Treasurer; S. Enge, Vice President; A. Voss, President. In our election at the beginning of the year we chose the following officers: Alice Voss, President; Stephanie Enge, Vice President; Kathy Sedam, Secretary; Beverly Wolner, Treasurer. They surely did a fine job in leading our class . . . We have 109 students in our class this year which is an in- crease of 14 students over last year. Our teachers include Mrs. McCuskey, English; Mr. Haugen, science and math; Mr. Widmark, science; Mr. Hovda, music and social studies; Mr. Knopp, industrial arts; Mr. Veglahn and Mr. Wilkenson, phy- sical education . . Our float didn't place in the homecoming parade, but we had lots of fun building it anyway. We had several parties during the year, the two biggest ones were our roller skating party and our Halloween party. These are two parties we will never for- get. Stephen Strommen was chosen king and Kathy Sedam queen to reign over our Halloween party . . . The boys' and girls glee club looked sharp at the Christmas concert coming all decked out,in white shirts and blouses. The boys really looked nice in their black bow ties and also sounded good. Nancy Anderson did a fine job as accompanist. Several members of our class were in cadet and senior high band. Marlys Hunstad, Stephanie Enge, and Nancy Anderson were the majorettes in our grade . . . The boys basketball team went through the season unbeaten under Mr. Strom men’s coaching . . . Mr. Wilkenson guided this year as our class advisor. As we look to the future, we bid farewell to the eighth grade and anxiously await our last year of junior high . . . ROW 1: K. Jukulen, J.
