Choosing class rings was certainly a hard task. . .My, but those good orchestras were ex- pensive. . . The decisions for the prom were rather difficult but we tackled them. . .Arlo Hurley, President, Mar- lyn Seig, Vice Pre sident; Carolyn Johnson, Secretary; Barbara Laingen, Treasurer; were chosen early in the year to direct our class. . .Jon War- ling and Gail Jensen were chosen for our homecoming attendants . . . They looked nice by Queen Sally and King Philip, didn't they?. . .Since the sev- enth grade we have obtained first prize for our homecoming float; this year second prize. . . Men Are Like Streetcars was selected for our jun- ior class play. . .Milton Wetzel di- rected the play which was given No- vember 12, 1954. . .What hectic weeks of practice. . .We were saddened when two of our fellow classmates left. . . Roger Junker moved to Kentucky and Lowell Jensen transferred to Min- neapolis . . . Ruth Hammar, who for- merly lived in Iraq, enrolled as a new student. . .What a privilege to have her in our class. . .And so another year has passed. . .One more year and we will have completed high school. . .
