IN APPRECIATION It has been only a year since we first met Sister Ann Magdalene, but we feel as if we have always known her. Her patience with us, her constant trust in us, her understanding of us, and her kindness as well as devotion to us, made her more than just an advisor and teacher but a respected friend. The perfect example she set by her dignified and gracious manner was a constant reminder of our duties toward both God and country. We hold dear all the ideals and principles which she has fostered in our minds and hearts. Thus it is that we wish to express sincerely our gratitude and appre- ciation to Sister Ann, our senior moderator.

We, the Senior Class, have chosen as our theme, Saint James Church, which has been to us a constant source of inspiration during the years we have spent here. Remembering mid-term and final examinations, we recall the many “quick” visits we made in front of the Tabernacle. On the day of an important game, it was not unusual to see the boys on the team hearing Mass and receiving Holy Communion, asking God to either allow them to win or enable them to lose well. As report cards went out, we recognized quite a few students at Our Lady’s altar during lunch hour, eagerly awaiting a miracle that would save the day and their allowance. All the Communions, First Friday Masses, retreats, and visits we made to St. James Church, plus the wonderful training we obtained in school, have enabled us to reach the position we are now in, that of Seniors nearing Commencement.
