REVEREND ADOLPH J. BAUM Our Rector The success of an organization depends first and foremost upon its head Under the faithful and zealous leadership of Father Baum, St. James has taken its place among the leading high schools of this district. Ordained in 1934, our Rector served as assistant in the Annunciation Parish, Shenandoah, and St. Henry's Parish, Philadelphia, before he was appointed professor of the Roman Catholic High School, scene of his high school days. ln May, 1940, he was officially appointed by, His Eminence, Cardinal Dougherty, to establish our school-St. James Catholic High School for Boys.
