The Student Council sponsored the election of the high school cheerleaders and assisted in the sponsorship of the annual Christmas Hop. The Lettermen's Club, which completed its fifth successful year in 1957-58, again raised money through the candy machines. Second row: Gary Beeler, Sharon Aemisegger, Wanda Schmidt, Tillie Arthur, Gerald Kohne. The F. T. A. completed its second successful year in 1957-58. Members of the club served as student teachers, relieving regular teachers in the elementary school for short periods when it became necessary.
