Slunt We've got spirit, yes we do! Every year, students and faculty alike not only look forward to the day of the game itself, but to the entire week that precedes it: spirit week! This week gives everyone a chance to break the dress code and get a little goofyor even nerdy! This year, the week started with nerd day, as students were encouraged to unleash the star trek fan within or show off their favorite suspenders. Tuesday brought out everyone's inner wildcat with jungle day as people donned camouflage or animal prints. Wednesday, everyone expressed their grammar school pride with uniforms and school colors from their pre-SI days. Then SI got ready for the storm that would take out SH on the football field by dressing the part on Thursday's weather disaster day. Friday topped it off as the halls of SI became a sea of red and blue from face paint to this year's special edition Bruce Mahoney t-shirts featur- ing Brother Draper. Spirit week unites the school as we come to- gether to celebrate that WE ARE SI. It builds excitement as game day comes closer and closer until the excitement's release during the pre-game rally. Spirit week shows that we're in this together as a school, and when united you just can't stop that cat machine! 1. Som Arabian 2. Jocqueline To- boni 3.
