We were blessed with the opportunity to live in a marginalized community in an effort to promote social justice and personal awareness. As we laid the foundation to new sidewalks, we also built the base for many new friendships. As we fed the hungry with bread and juice, they fed us with compassion and empathy. As we slept on the cold floors in our sleeping bags, we began to see God in all things. The experiences of Immersion are not confined to Sacramento, San Francisco, East LA., Tijuana, Costa Rica, Tacoma, Birmingham, and Northern Ireland.
