Dancing in a Winter Wonderland Many SI students dressed up, got in the holiday spirit, and danced in a winter wonderland at the annual CLC Christmas Dance. They enjoyed going through the dance ritual—dinner, pictures, and a lot of memories from a wonderful night. People danced to a variety of music surrounded by twinkling lights and massive, glowing evergreen trees. While enjoying all the holiday cheer, the St. Ignatius community supported the CLC drive to raise money so more families could also enjoy the good tidings of the Christmas season. Above: Juniors have fun on the dance door. Right: Nichole Herrera and Cyrena Giordano flash a smile amidst the excitement of the dance. Far right: Freshmen Alisa Wong. Camille Hawkins, George Gaspar. Priscilla Wong. Theresa Ksmero. and Shelly Capulong enjoy their first Christmas Dance. IT Chriitma Vances

Gome Together... And Pray The emphasis on this school year was to have more school-wide prayer and reflection services in an effort to further unite and foster Jesuit ideals in the SI community. During the course of the year, the people of the school community took time out of their busy schedules to appreciate the blessings in their lives and pray for a more humane and just world. Students also had other opportunities for spiritual growth through the Friday Morning Liturgies and retreats. FMLs offer a weekly place to celebrate Mass and gather as a community. Also, the yearly retreats allow students to leave behind the chaotic world for a short time and focus on the important things in life. All these activities strive to make SI a more loving, concerned, and reflective place. Above: Zach Kenney and Alex Lollini invite the congregation to sing along with them.
