JOY TO THE WORLD-The ioy of the first Christmas is mani- fested to the student body as Joyce Schnell, Suzanne Leitz, and Maryann Giordano present the Nativity scene. Junior Dramatists depict the story of Maria, an orphan from South America. Franciscan mis- sionaries bring Maria to Philadelphia where she meets Susie Hubert. Disappointed because Susie cannot adopt her, our Ieetle friend gives us a glimpse of the family spirit within her as she shares lovely moments with Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Maria shows us her Christmas gifts from the Holy Family, a series of tableaux connected with the first Christmas. The Annunciation, the Visitation, the Inn Scene, the Shepherds, and the Nativity-these scenes help us to realize the true meaning of Christmas. fffeehzkzg 6521137 lil ffrrkfmrzs GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST sings the glee club accompanied by' Kathleen Finnegan at the harp The whole stage is suddenly transformed into a magnificent church with Susie Hubert IMary Marchl and Maria a Spanish orphan IHeIene Thomasl kneeling in prayer before the man er. 1?
