Junior Charlotte Gordon assists Freshman Theresa Zapiec as Sophomore Mary Ann McKendry aids Senior Marian Christy. An essential part of any Catholic high school is a student govern- ment. Following the fine traditions and active school spirit char- acteristic of St. Hubert's, outstanding students carry on the work of our present Student Council. It is composed of eager, loyal, and well-deserving girls, who are elected by the student body and approved by the faculty. The chief duties of the councilors are to maintain order in the school, to assist at special functions, and to represent our school on various occasions. MARKS OF DISTINCTION-Father Simons distributes the badges of office to student councilors, homeroom representatives and associates, officers of the A. A. Board, captain of the ushers, editors of school publications, and co-concertmeisters during Installation Day ceremonies in the auditorium. The student body and the members of the orchestra are on hand for the program which closes with the singing of the school song. l
