On a brisk Seplember morning in l94l, Sl. Huber+'s opened Hs doors in welcome +o i+s firsf sfudenl body. Enfering 'rhe school wi+h all lhe enlhusiasm and vilaiily of you+h were 63I girls from fourleen neighboring parishes. The spacious campus, lhe soli'l'ary building, and 'rhe facully of lwenfy leachers working arden'l'ly as pioneers of learning remain bui' a memory of 'Former years, yel fhis was our beginning in lhe field of educaiion, lhe nucleus from which has arisen our presenl' record of achievemenl. Because of 'rhe increased enrollmenl +o+aling 789, il' was necessary +o erecl' +he firsi addifion 'ro 'l'he school in l950. The new wing, an a+l'raclive T-shaped uni+, provided addi+ional classrooms, home economics and science labs, commercial rooms, locker and shower rooms. Even +his did noi suffice for our growing demands, so in i954 +wo annexes were opened, one al' S+. MaHhew's and +he o+her a+ S+. Timo+hy's School. ln 'rhe succeeding pages are depic+ed S+.
