JU POVERTY Ll-IA TITY CDHEDIENCI: Umllfuillu After sixty four years of noble, generous, inspiring ac tivity as Teacher, Directress, Superior General of her Com munity, mother Wilhelmine was, on January twenty fourth called by the Master to receive the reward for which she arduously and ar dently worked Mother Wilhelmine was, t all times and under all circum- stances a shining example to all who knew her. Her quiet charming manners were ever an inspira- tion--her loving words of ad- vice based on insight and experience an incentive to noble efforts. MOTHER SENDS SISTERS TO CHARLESTON Her great ambition was charity--a charity which found Opportunity over and over again in innumerable ways. She wanted to help others and her very special desire was to be of as- sistance to Priests who were will Hllllfflllll struggling to build up their schools We know this because when in 1926, our good Father Petri of blessed memory urgently pleaded for Sisters, Mother Wilhelmine, though really handi capped, sent a group of Sisters to Charleston and appointed Sis ter M Xavier who has also gone to her eternal reward--first Superior. Not only did Mother send Sisters but she took a vi- tally personal interest in the school. Her biennial visits to St. Henry's were always gala days for us and the progress of school a great satisfaction to her. WE OWE HER GRATITUDE That Mother Wilhelmine was our devoted benefactress and true friend we know and in cen- sideration hereof we pledge our prayers for her and in memory of her our loyalty to uher Sistersn working so devotedly with and for us.
