MRS JAMIESON 1 -' FALL SENIOR OFFICERS PRESIDENT SECRETARY Joe Calizzo Donna Bray VICE-PRESIDENT TREASURER Jere Jones Pat Connolly lnot picturedl When the Class of '55 entered St. Helena High School four years ago as freshmen, they were shy and perhaps a little frightened, but with the help of their advisors, Miss Crary and Mr. Passalacqua, they soon felt very much at home. As part of getting acquainted, the girls were initiated into the G. A. A.: and even though they had to wear weird costumes, they enioyed every minute of it. One of their first social events was the Freshmen Return, which was very successful. In their sophomore year, the Class of '55 had a new class advisor who took Miss Crary's place. She was Mrs. Claudine Liati, who for two years was a great help in planning class activities. Her untimely death at the end of the iunior year was a great loss which was felt deeply by every member of the class. MR. PASSALACQ UA SPRING SENIOR OFFICERS 1. PRESIDENT SECRETARY Ronnie Nickel Helene Young VICE-PRESIDENT TREASURER Marlene Wagner Rudy Yudnich Mr. Passalacqua helped extensively in the busiest year of the high school career of the Class of '55. They helped in planning the Senior Dinner, which was held on May 28, and in organizing the Senior Breakfast on the day of graduation. The Senior Sneak took place on May 9, at the Marin Town and Country Club. Although everyone came back with a bad sunburn, all had fun. Dancing in the Dark was chosen as the theme for the Junior Prom, which featured the music of Dick Peters and his orchestra. ln return the iunior class gave the Seniors a grand send-off with a very nice Senior Ball. We all remember the last day of school as one of the happiest and yet one of the saddest days that we have ever known. It was difficult to say good-bye to our friends, classmates, and teachers, and to the St. Helena High School, where we spent so many happy days. There is no way for us to show the gratitude and appreciation we feel to- ward Mr. Passalacqua, Miss Crary, Mrs. Liate, Mrs. Jamieson, and all the other teachers who have helped us so much. All we can say is Thank you, we shall do our best to justify the faith you have had in us.
