0 D IKUKX N0 ll I I CLI llll II uoml Rem ll 4 x X u JUNIOR CLASS We the Class of 37 a decldely small and qulet group, entered hlgh school durlng the fall of 1933 As Freshmen we possess d a certam Splflf that was ever present amongst us whlch has made us an outstandmg group ln the eyes of the other classes Our first soclal event arrlved when we gathered upon the football turf one noon hour durmg September to r1d the Held from large and damagmg rocks In thls way we not only lmproved the turf but expr ssed our gratltude to the faculty and the oth r classes However, we were amply rewarded through the generosxty of our adviser Mlss Lull, who s rved us large quantltles of xce cream Durmg the latter part of November we ran true to form and gave a Freshman Return Durmg May the first Annual School P1cn1c was staged and turned out to be an affa1r 1n whrch all of us played a consplcuous part Sp clal mentxon mrght be glven to the wonderful dramatrzatlon of The Merchant of Venlce that we put on Thxs Shakespearean productxon was a tremendous success and was not only p rformed for the benefit of the Student Body but for several outs1de organ xzatxons as well Our Sophomore year was qulte calm VVe had no Sophomore Hop due to the fact that the coffers of our treasury were extremely low I-Iowev r we drd play a most actlve part 1n the several school functions and socxal ev nts Our dramatlc abxlxty was once agam exhlblt d durlng our Sophomore year when we presented a colossal puppet presentatlon, under the dxrectlon of Mrss Kelley, out English teacher During thus last year we achieved the rank of umors and finally reallz cl the responslbxllty and lmportance that is due upper classmen The problem of most con cern to us this year was the financmg of a unlor Prom Thls problem was Hnally solv d by means of a number of candy sales The unlor Prom was glven on the page tnenty 'I' I ': H.
