The Forum Since its inception in the extra-curricular program here at St. Helena three years ago, the Forum has grown by leaps and bounds until today it enjoys a position of high prominence among the other school activities. A principal constituent of the Catholic Forensic League, it claims long hours of practice and consistent effort as the secrets to success. Long tedious hours of re- hearsals are necessary before the delivery of a well- polished speech. The Forum has reaped the harvest of another fruitful season, capturing medals, trophies, and other honors in several oratorical competitions held throughout the city this past year. Largely responsible for the overwhelming good fortune of the Forum is its energetic moderator, Bro. Stephen Luke, and coemoderator, Mr. William McKeough. Bro. Stephen has trained each member in the necessities and strategies of successful public speaking. With tireless perseverence, he has seen his group grow into one of the school's most prized organizations. -.ty Dick Uhl and Bob Kuhlkin receive well F deserved awards. Forum Moderators: Mr. Walter Mclfeough Bro. Stephen Luke, and Bro. Patrick lames discuss recent awards.
