Dear Girls, You have come to the end of your four years as students of St. Helena's High School, four years which, we hope, have been fruitful in in- creasing an awareness of the Holy Spirit within you and in deepening your personal love of God. Opportunities for the accomplishing of this end have not been lacking and we feel the majority of you have taken advantage of these privileges: frequent reception of the Sacra- ments, visits to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacra- ment and to His Mother, religious instructions, and the constant example of dedicated Religious and devoted lay teachers. It is now up to you, when you are on your own without any gentle reminders, to put into practice in your daily living the lessons learned, and to show forth to a cynical world the effects of the great love God has for you and you have for Him. The fruits of your four years at St. Helena's will be evidenced in the courageous, gracious, Christian young ladies who go forth to meet the challenge of a materialistic time. On our part, we place you, with affection, under the loving patronage of Mary, Queen of our hearts: where would you be safer? SISTER MARY VICTOIRE, O.P. Principal
