Closs 205 An energetic group, full of school spirit,', is probably the best description of 205, a fun-loving sophomore class. Victoria Battles and Margaret Resch can frequently be seen planning and ex- ecuting creative ideas for interesting bulletin boards, which, within a few days become the talk of the school. The Spanish Club is a favorite activi- ty in which almost the entire class par- ticipates. True Spanish Senoritas are cer- tain to emerge from this group. The ability to sing is hardly lacking here either. Christina Stokes and Bar- bara DeMaio are contributing much to the fine singing quality of our Glee Club. During gym we find the class Varsity member Dorothy Hession, coaching the class Intramural Basketball Team. 'win .ff if Closs 206 Prince Rainier, Spanish mascot of class 206 has observed much while adorning the classroom wall. He has been enter- tained by some of his tuneful companions while they rehearsed in the Little Theatre for the Christmas Concert given by the Glee Club. When Joan Laverty was chosen to be narrator in the Christmas Show, he was quite proud. Looking around the classroom he has observed the artistic and colorful decorations drawn by June Mathovic, the c1ass's own Leonardo Da Vincif' At three o'clock he has seen many of the girls hurrying off either to a Sodality meeting, the Spanish Club, or the French Club, of which Cathy Maynihan is secretary.
