On May 31st at 9:50 A.M. St. Helenais boat to Rye, the 101211 fl. illtfrcfi, left its port in the East River and chugged gaily toward its happy destination. On board were thousands of lighthearted I-Ielenians. from both the boys' and girls' school, who were determined to have a good time. The weather was fine and for al- most everyone on board things seemed to be going their way, The trip to Rye's playland was most pleasant, as could be determined from the happy voices and dancing feet of the Helenians. There were amusements such as the thrilling roller coaster and the ever popular bubble bounce to go on, games of chance to try one's luck at and even swim- ming to keep everybody happy. The time spent at Rye seemed to be just one big whirlwind of happiness and when the Helenians started back for the boat each wore a smile of contentment on his face. 9 1 vi nigd i 4 it 2 Ira 'YD 'T ' c all!
