The students learn to construct simple sets and to send and receive radio messages. There is abundant opportunity to do lab work supervised by a faculty moderator. Mem- bers who are well versed in the subject are able to apply for one of the Federal Communications Commission's three amateur licenses: novice, technician or general. In addition to the expert advice of the faculty moderators, there are also available some of the finest textbooks and periodicals. All of these things make membership in the Radio Club a rich and rewarding experience. You're on the air. Delving into the Held of electronics.

This years concert proved. to be especially enjoyable combining for the rirst time the talents of the bovs' and girls' departments. A wonderful rendition of the great musical Okla- homa started in rehearsal about the first vveek of October. The manv months of practice were necessary to produce a top notch performance. The seven girls were a welcomed and needed addi- tion supplying very beautiful head voices. Brother Damian said the amalgamation proved enjoyable to all concerned. An ensemble of some 60 voices were heard among which were such enduring soloists as Brian McKeon. Fred Lambret and of course the seven girls, B. Darsev. J. Gereghtv. M. Lackner. B. O'Keefe, M. Peappert. D. Sharp. and C. Veccarelli. Though everyone concerned put in long hours of practice. they all agreed that the pleasure of ap- pearing on stage was more than worth the effort.
