P TEXAS DAY AT T GREGORY S Y V-,T 2 RPM 98 zYy x X J , 'N Western Day at St Gregory's coincided with San Jacinto or Texas Day on April 21 Pupils came to school dressed in their western outfits--boots hats guns and the whole Works. But this year they really did things up right. 'Old time bartenders served coke at lunch time and from behind an old bar. Dennis Swift Dan Spiller Ronnie Hitt and Dick Stine looked old timey with their handlebar mustaches and their hair parted down the middle At high noon Sister Lorita called her cleputies to prepare for a good ole western movie. The good ole days came to life at St Gregory's on April Z1 1958 A few cowgirls and cowboys went home from school a little bit tired but all enjoyed themselves on Western Day HAYRIDE The Student Council sponsored a hayride to Bellwood Lake on October Z8 Transportation was arranged by Carol George Ninth grade provided the hay, and were in charge of the tickets Seventh grade took charge o f the r efreshm ents.
