There is a mysterious power in reading. As good almost killamanas kill a good book, John Milton once wrote: who kills a man, kills a reasonable creature, God's imagegbut he who destroys a good book kills reason itself, kills the image of God, as it were, in the eye. V '. ' M Through the combined efforts of the MOTHERS' CLUB, BOOSTER CLUB, and KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS lockers were purchased for the pupils of the Junior High, since no locker space had been provided for them in the classrooms. The students appreciate the thoughtfulness of Sister Lorita, principal of St. Gregory's School, in asking these various organiiations for the lockers. Publicly the students wish to express their gratitude to the MOTHERS' CLUB, BOOSTER CLUB and KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS for these spacious lockers. THANK YOU! How did we ever get along without them? .

Dennis Swift and his group of Ninth Graders seek the answer to the question. Here it is. Whatever makes for happiness in this world and in the next. Youth does not stop and close the sentence with a period after world, but after heaven, for youth realizes that he is a citizen of two worlds--earth and heaven. God bestows great gifts on young people, and may they always be used in His service and accordingto His law to make our American Youth, HEALTH- IER, HOLIER, HAPPIERJ'
