Msgr. Vincent J. Wolf, principal speaker, stressed the idea that Catholics do not wish any union between Church and State, for both are perfect societies. The obligation of the parish is to educate the who1e child --body and soul. ' ' Mayor Zeb Spruiell, pictured with Msgr. E. V, McCullough in the breaking of the ground, welcomed the forthcoming school in behalf of the City of Tyler, and another welcome for Smith County was ex- tended by County Judge Ned Price. Dr. I-I. E. Jenkins, president of Tyler Junior College, congratulated the parish on its planning. Dr. Holmes Webb, Tyler High School principal, participated in the program. For years, he said, te have enjoyed splendid relationships with St. Gregoz-y's Parochial School and know that this will con- inue with the splendid new high school.
