h OUR COACH -DES SHEEDY After he had discarded his own playing outfit, Coach Des Sheedy found something most satisfying in the playing of, the game, he dis- covered a vital interest, a study, and a science that ultimately grew into a profession. Long hours of conference, longer hours on the practice field work- ing out plays and signals, have given him an insight into the game. Along with a competitive spirit and a desire for Winning, Coach Sheedy has instilled in his boys the principles of good sportsmanship and fair play. And although the boys on his squads did not win many trophies, they have gained something better-the worthwhile principles which will be deciding factors in their lives.
