A if-xx This operetta, based on music by Stephen Foster,was presented on April 20, 21, and 22. It starts with a birthday party for Jeanie-- Jeanette Jenny, given by her uncle, Colonel Staunton--James Uhlenkott. He presents Jeanie with the family heirloom, a ruby. A Hindu magician-Majundahr--Alan Hoene --who was invited for special entertainment-- takes the ruby from Jeanie when the lights are removed that he may be able to tell her fortune. Richard chases the Hindu and gets the ruby back, thus proving himself worthy of Jeanie. Adaliza--Betty Lou Schnider-- friend of Jean- ie, sings WMy Old Kentucky Home,Uaccompan- ied by Melvin Jensen and John Mager on the banjo.
