January 28,1986 11:39 A.rvi. qesn The tragedy of the Space Shuttle Challenger exploding during mission lift-off, was one of the most impor- tant events during the school year. The astronauts gave their lives, in the service of our country and in search of knowledge for all. It is to their undying memory that we dedicate our yearbook. 2 Mr. Dennis M. One thing is certain, however. When a f If .S I, moment passes by it is gone forever, and nothing can recall it. So it is with the gf, Pg -K 1' years in high school, which for our seniors, are only memories now. -A Q Qs H . This year's Spanish Club was under the direction of Mr. David Ellison. Mr. Ellison is responsible for starting a student ex- change program with a school from Monterrey. Welcome To San Antonio This year's visit was from April 17-April 20. Upon their ar- rival to S.A. the students were greeted by their host families. The next day the students were welcomed to school, and went through a regular school day. This day was ended at a local Teen-Age nightclub. On Saturday the students were taken on a tour of the city by their host families. And that night they had a get-together at Live Oak Park. Then Sunday came, at 11:45 we had to say farewell to our new friends. The students from Monterrey all became part of our ROYAL FAMILY during their visit. And they will never be forgotten, for they have given us lasting memories. LEFT: Russell Richter and John Keener are doing their duty looking after the library.
