THE LANCE Front Rozv: Sour, Milne, Dover, Booth, Lockhart. Second Row: Pitlik, Holleran, Neilson, Haviland, Collier. Absent: Harvey-Smith. Co-Editor: S. D. Boorit Photographic Editor M. S. HARVEY-SMITH Co-Editor: R. F. Dover: Business Manager D. MILNE, IV Faculty Advisors MR. W. H. DRURY MR. N. D. Hovr As usual the editors of the LANCE were plagued by a bad case of spring fever and in spite of good intentions were without doubt later in going to press than any other LANCE Board in the history of the school. This year, thanks to the efforts of our ad- visors, the LANCE has tried a new approach, with a different format and a more informal presentation of life at St. Georges This attempted change produced many new problems but we feel that we have been moderately successful in producing a LANCE that you will enjoy-with many, many more pictures and not too much copy. It is our sincere hope that succeeding classes will look with favor on this LANCE and endeavor to improve on our efforts so that the school will have a top-notch year- book. Our thanks to Mr. Drury, Mr. Hoyt, and Mr. Booth, whose patience and persever- ance have made this book possible.
