jg?-ff WWW ROBERT JOHN GALLAGHER SAINT GABRIELQS An outspoken opponent of Communistic Government, and an excessive avidity for academics was amiable Bob. For those who demonstrated extra-curriculum knowledge in the classroom, Bob would cock his head and screw his face into an inimitable a11d superlative expression of dis- dain. He made a splendid reputation in basketball. Robert was known as the man of moods, of which he had two- his good one, and the one he was in before breakfast. Whenever he showed up in a gathering, he and his grin would invariably become the life of the party. Missions, Basketball. VINCENT ROBERT GALLAGHER SAINT GABRIELiS Unlike many possessed of an eifervescent personality, Vincent superbly lacking in aimless frivolity and was deep- ly conscious of the ideals that make men. Studies were never a serious problem for him, and his sharp, but never cutting wit, brightened the spirits of many. He is unknown to an enemy, a credit to endless riends. Missions. .5 fp M MARGARET AGNES GILLESPIE SAINT GABRIELQS Margaret must have been vaccinated with a phonograph needle, for her line of gab never ceased from morning until night. But her lively chatter helped enliven the monoto- nous routine for us. For everyone she had a grin, a greet- ing, and a groan about her studies. Her quick understand- ing and hearty good-naturedness won her many friends in all classes throughout the school. Never a slave to rigid conventions, Peggy's independence of thought, keen judg- ment, and resourcefulness will help her to continue success. Dramatics, Missions. M 1 V ' I.,,1 . 0 -1. Y . DOROTHY J. HYDOCK GOOD S HEPHERD, DRUMS A serious attitude with a cheery smile, a passion for an evening dance, and a natural ability in all things academic made Dorothy popular with everyone with whom she came in contact. Her unstint- ing cooperation and unswerv- ing attention to duty have been her consistent classmark. Her level head and frank manner have been a good in- fluence in everyone around her, and it is a proud person who can say they knew her, for in Dorothy, we have a true friend for life. Missions, Language Club, Ora- lorical. Y ' 4 ' , - ' . ' . I JANE ANNE JENKINS SAINT PATRICKES, McADoo Her greatest worry was as to when the next informal dance would be. When the students wanted some profes- sional dope about the school, G'Janie was their woman. Ever ready to enter heated, though friendly, discussions on any subjects from boys to the classics, Jane could be found in the midst of any session worthy of the name. Her wealth of general infor- mation always made her the envy of her classmates. It be- came axiomatic to say 6'Let's ask Jane, she'll knowf, Missions, Physical Science, Dra- matics, Oratorical, Angelus. MARTHA MARY JOHNSON SAINT GABRIELWS Martha is one of those few people one meets who may be placed in the coveted cate- gory of being adaptable to any environment or situation. Her spontaneous personality, quick wit and easy affability are qualities in her general make up that make her im- mediately liked by all. Close association with her reveals a more serious side, embody- ing a rarely encountered depth of understanding and sincerity. She is best de- scribed as having a song on her lips, a cheery smile on her face, and a warm personality. Missions. . -- fy 24 E
