Tllllllll EHUNIIIL The governing bodf' of any school is, by far, the most important group, for in its hands it holds the character of the school. To those who are eligible to receive them, the Student Council imparts heavy responsibilities, enabling them to proceed in leadership, integrity, and initiative. By infusing into every girl the qualities of reliability and respect, the Student Council members are preparing a happy future for them- selves as good Catholics and staunch citizens. Feverish work, this yearbook business! 7--We -if if .,..ef' Busy, busy, busy! One of the most hectic jobs connected with the make- up of the Adrian is that of the hustl- ing typists. Caught in a moment of earnest preparation are V. Smith, M. G. Rose, assistant literary editor, K. Miller, and M. .-X. Keppel. 'Cf XYhat is able to capture the living spirit of a school. its once-in-a-lifetime highlights and never-to-be-forgotten events? A year- book, of Course! The x1UIl'l'Gll, so called in memory of the late Adrian Iselin, has re- ceived high acclaim over the years from various associations owing to the labor of its faithful statls. Now, between fresh, inky- smelling pages, we relive the past four years. Later, as we turn the yellow pages of this well-worn book, we shall smile and say, Oh yes, l remember when . . . ! Sheila Bartley, assistant, and photography edi- tor, Irene Hernon, hastily change plates between shots. Constant. untiring efforts on the part of these girls helped make our yearbook a best- seller.

Full of sharp wit and ambiguous lines, chuckles arose in the andience at the oddest moments. Phyllis Yallario and Barbara Corbi perform brilliantly. One of the four acts chosen for the Student Council Talent Show, they repre- sented the junior class. CPlease note the can- delabraij in the formation of strong charactersg . . .
