Sister Dorothy Marie, Sodality mod- erator, conducts a Council Vigil Hour. At this time every Tuesday afternoon, Sodality officers and committee heads gather to plan the forthcoming meet- ing and pray for its success. In order to vitalize the spiritual life of the stu- dents, Our Lady's Sodality, through its various committees, has conducted many affairs. Among them were the Father-Daughter Dance and Hal- lowe'en and Christmas Parties. The active coopera- tion of officers and participating members has effected successful weekly religious and business meetings. Varied projects such as an honesty cam- paign, forums, plays, pilgrimages, held the interest of the girls while supplementing their spiritual life. One of the main attractions this year was a fashion show featuring modest day and evening wear. Representing Saint Gabriel's in a Marian Year tribute to Our Lady held at Stepinac High School are the ofhcers of the Sodality. They are Cl. to r.D: M. A. Bohmert, vice-pres., M. Costa, pres., M. A. A wonderful Christmas for some very grateful children. Destination of many Marian Year pilgrimages was Im- maculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. The outdoor shrine of Our Lady of Victory was often visited by So- dalists, who prayed for peace and sought a closer union with God. of the students.
