Each Wednesday, Michele Peteprin, Carol McBlaine, Linda Howard and Toni Budicin spend the after- noon at the Riverside County General Hospital as Junior Red Cross Volunteers under the direction of Mrs. Johnson, Director of Volunteer Services. These girls make themselves useful in the arts and crafts room and in entertaining the young patients. Here, Michele and Mrs. Wodl, Occupational Therapy Di- rector in the Chronic Building, admire work done by patients. Eleven months of planning and work by the sodal- ists of the diocese terminated on February 22. This was the day Catholic students in public high schools in the four counties of the San Diego Diocese made a day of recollection. St. Francis sodalists assisted pastors and retreat masters at all retreats held throughout Riverside County. Ramona Lopez, Karen Carr, Rosa Vaughn, Mary McCoy and Linda Tyson were right at home in registering retreatants for the retreat held at St. Francis, while others went as far ,,,,,,, as Blythe, Twenty-Nine Palms, Indio and Palm Springs. Other assignments took sodalists to Hemet, Elsinore, Corona, Perris and Arlington. N' . 1 '1 ,4- Wu .ll LQ . -If l W a Y 'nay 5 ' K, l . wi 5 ., Q gr 'f , Y 1 l.. 77
