What a thrill of anticipation and wonderment as one watches the fragile bud unfold to reveal a full- blown rose of exquisite beauty. We, the students of Saint Francis, are at that stage of unfolding and revealing the virtues of Catholic wom- anhood. The help derived from the influence and guidance of our Catholic Education has strengthened our growth and maturity until we stand upon the thres- hold of womanhood prepared to meet the challenge of its splendor. To our Dominican Sisters we dedicate this annual, and we ask the guidance of Mary, the most perfect woman, in accomplishing our goal-which was hers also-of bringing Christ to others.
